J.M. La Rue is a freelance writer and mixed media artist. She creates original content daily for eZines, web content sites such as Associated Content and Helium, and produces original content for webmasters, bloggers, and print publications. She is working on her first novel in the hard-boiled detective genre.
J.M. is a graduate of Washington State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. As a small business owner, she served criminal defense attorneys as a contract legal investigator, researcher, and process server for more than a decade. She closed the business in 2002 to pursue her creative interests in art and writing. She and her husband make their home on the “Left Coast” in the San Juan Islands of Washington State.
